Default Jager Shift Plate Leather Boot Instructions

Does anyone have a copy of the Jager Shift Plate and Leather boot assembly instructions they could PM me? I'm trying to see how difficult it would be to DIY assemble it as opposed to having them do it for me. Thanks!

I don't have the instructions anymore, but I had one in my former 86.5, and it took about 15 minutes to pop it in - very easy job. Took more care to pull off the stock plate.

Apparently on the DIY kit they mention you have to separate something from the factory shift plate to mount it onto the Jager one prior to reinstallation. Those are the instructions I am attempting to locate.

It's not difficult. You drill out the plastic rivets of the cage that holds the slider. Then you insert the boot, and use the included screw to reattach the cage. Then you can use the included thread and needle to further secure the boot.

I'm not sure you can do it right in 15 minutes, but I'd say 30-45 minutes should give you a great result.
