I'm curious as to cost and availability of new stock suspension springs.

Prefer the GT/CS sport spring rates.....thx

Hi Malcolm-

Useless piece of data now, 'cause I have no idea on current price or availability, but in 9/06 I paid:

270.00 Club Sport springs 928 343 511 12 504
391.00 Rear springs 928 333 531 14

So if they're available (I would imagine they are) the rear springs are hideously expensive.

thx guys.

Roger, are the option M637 orange stripe 928 343 511 12 504 fronts available?

PET doesnt list the 304 rears......are they 4x blue stripe? (PET lists blue stripe with different part numbers for 1,2 and 3 stripe)

Last time I checked 928 343 511 12 504 were not available. However you never know and I will check in the morning.
For the rears 928 333 531 14 301/302/303 have all superceded to one number 304.

Malcolm,
I bought some of the 404 fronts about two weeks ago so I am pretty sure they are available - probably out of Germany.

To clarify what was OEM in my S4:

Fronts were double brown striped

Rears were double blue striped.

I'll have to fire up the WSM disc as I dont recall what rate those are but given the stripe range is 1 thru 3 then 2 would be middle of the range or is that to logical for Porsche speak?

The supercede number is for the rears only?

If so, the fronts were also available in three ranges (brown stripe) then there were the CS orange stripe(s) with a different part # that Rob first noted although I didn't see the special orange springs in the WSM.....I'll look harder (read; put my glasses on)
