Default x-pipe minus cat LH coding

A month ago I installed an x-pipe and removed the cat. Today I was researching another issue within the workshop manuals and came across coding the LH (24-221). It goes into detail about how the coding plug is configured for cars with and without the cat converter. My question is has anyone updated the LH Code plug once the cat was removed? Did you notice any benefit?

All the coding plug will do for you is disable the O2 sensor circuit. No increase in HP.

You can do it , but you'll need to add the CO measuring POT to that one lone connector near the brains.. The euro S4's without cats have that adjuster ...

Your MAF needs to be in very good condition in order to read the air flow accurately if you plan on switching to the ROW coding plug (non-cats car). The slightest variations in voltage can trigger some weird running issues. I have an ROW plug with potentiometer that I played around with. A bad connection in the MAF harness literally wreaked havoc with my car, worse than when the car was running with the US coding plug.
