Wally might know for sure, but according to the 928 Electrical Training doc on the CD set, there was some rewiring on the 1981 fuse panel and a change in which fuses were left empty, vs 1980.

The majority of the infor on the 928 specialist link (if not all) should be correct --- just be wary.

The external doucment I referenced also suggests that the 1981 panel, part designation ending 04, was retrofittable to 1980. So did they do a little rewiring around fuse 10 and 13? Dont know. Voltmeter might tell you which is hot and which is spare.

You just may want to do some checking relative to this topic and I think its been covered here before but I don't have time thsi morning to chase it down. Maybe AO has a link in his signature line to a euro 1981 manual for you as a reference? Some times you have to triangulate information because there were model and market transitions occuring.

Fuses 7 and 13 were spare for 1980
Fuses 10 and 13 were spares for 1982

The 1981 panel picture is missing from the document (see the CD's) but the description leads one to believe the change happened in 1981 (ignore the red mark, below, it was there for another reason)
