Default remove rear view mirror from windshield mount?

Searched, but couldnt find out how to remove rear view mirror from windshield mount? Looked and dont see any allen screws or what not holding it to the piece glued to the windshield itself.

You merely tap it up from underneath. It is held in by a spring clip. It slides toward the roof. Then you take the little button off the windshield with a long handled screwdriver and a butane lighter. A long slim screwdriver will slide into the slot on the bottom of the metal button. Give the metal button some heat from the lighter flame and twist gently from side to side, do not pry the button off, you'll break the glass.

If you don't like the screwdriver idea, use a pliers and twist the button off the glass. you don't need more than 5-10 seconds of heat at the most. Remember, don't pry the button off, twist.
