GREENS!

Perfect! Lagoon Green, L35 is the paint code, I believe. In most lights, it appears more blue than green, almost Carolina blue. I didn't own this car when the time for weird greens came up, so I guess I have a good excuse for adding it now! Of course, it has a poor respray on it performed under the prior owner's stewardship, and the car is badly in need of another. The door jambs and under the hood also reveal a deeper color; I'll have to snap some shots of those an add them.

I would love to see more Amethyst photos. I think it's a fascinating colour - but maybe sensitive to white-balance/exposure/light temperature to see it 'right' (kind of like Amazon Green)

Back in 2010 on the way to Nurburgring at Helsinki harbour waiting for ferry to Germany.

Hi,

Do you think your car could be the car from the cover image of the "Porsche 928 Performance Portfolio" book by Brooklands?

Cheers,

Tom

Rennlist really needs a thumbs up button. I'll find a pic of the Venetian Blue 1988 928 S4 and post it. The color is the whole reason I bought an '88 rather than the '89+ with the updated gauges. That and the stereo. I do not recommend using those two criteria for purchasing purposes. If it I had it to over again, I'd buy from the guy with the thickest stack of receipts. But I'm a sucker for the wounded bird, so I pay more than I should to keep my girl from the crusher.

Aventurine Green. Actually, to my visual processing units, it appears more blue than green in many light settings. Last 928 in this color made for the N. American market (one other '95 in N. Am. in this color - one VIN ealrlier)..

Amaranth Violet...

This is the fifth highest optioned GTS ever built and the Frankfurt show car from 1994... Higher miles but quite savable, Leather/Rootwood galore!
