Lightbulb Fuchs Wheels on a 928 - Yes, I said FUCHS WHEELS ON A 928

I don't care what anybody has said in the past. I think these modernized Fuchs wheels would look damn good on a shark!

Now if they only made them in 18". They will from what the website says. www.fuchsperformance.com

The price is the only reason most people would say they would not look good on a 928. They are beautiful updates to a purely Porsche wheel, and would look great on a shark imho.

Found some 17" versions that look closer to the originals. Link is below. These are half the price.

Looks like they make them in 18" too.

I agree with your assessment. My only issue is that Fuchs just scream 911 to me (even though they were on 944/924's) and I just don't picture them on a 928--even though these new ones WOULD look great (price be damned).

Lindsey Racing has been offering a 17in Fuch for some time...

Lindsey Racing Fuchs

Two years ago they were working on designs for centers that would let them make 18in. Guess there hasn't been enough interest for them to be able to offer them at a marketable price. The cost of the dies to produce the centers is pretty high, that is probably why the Fuchs Performance wheels are $6000.

Suncoast has OE 19" ones from the Sport Classic and Speedster 997s for $3,850. They look identical to the Fuchs Performance ones.

I wonder if my fiancee will notice her Jetta missing out of the driveway and a nice new set of shoes on my car.

Tell her the $2K you might get for her Jetta is the price she pays for hijacking the C280.

Bumping -

Avant Garde Ruger Classic makes the same exact wheels (replicas apparently) for $1599. I just wish the suckers come in 18"!
