Default GTS DELETE - SKETCHES

I'm considering using etched stainless to delete constantly warping reflector, and add new exhaust tips. Please weigh in.

If you can get those tail lights made as shown, you are my hero!

In regards to the exhaust tips - the rectangular ones don't work with the shapes of the car. This is not a shape that you find anywhere else on the car, or that flows with the lines. The others all look good, but it depends on how complicated you want to make things.

Where ist the "No I don't like it at all" option.

I don't think it compliments the car in any way. Sorry, just my personal opinion.

Schocki,
No offense taken. If you might tell a noob how to edit a poll I will add the "Don't Like" option, which I should have anyway... poor polling etiquette.

I like the first one, but if you're going to do double pipes then the second. The square exhaust don't match the round body lines. The last one is too much "Audi S8".

I really like the last one with the dual exhaust tips, and I assume that is the last choice above since the sketches are not marked. I completely agree with Nicole - there are no rectangular shapes on the car, and those pics look odd.

Agreed. The 928 is a curvy car, the GTS especially so. The square pipes clash withe the rest of the car IMHO. I voted for the second option, although I liked the undertray of the last picture. Perhaps you could blend those two ideas.

Number two looks great. And while your at it, loose the bumperettes!

I'm glad we don't have these in Europe. Regarding the reflector, yo did a better job tha Porsche with this look. I never liked the reflector.

Option 2 and 5 are the best for sure! I am with Jarrod, seeing option 2 with the undertray (and/or making that a diffuser?!) might be nice... I have always liked the dual's on the 928's that have had them done. Real PITA to make that happen and look right in the process, but when done right I think it is a GREAT LOOK!

That 2nd one down is pretty slick. The bottom one is nice but does look a little bulky and tough to keep clean. There's a poll on RL that said approx 65+% preferred the S4 over the GTS rear bumper. You could swap out the GTS for an S4 at no cost, that's what I did. Not to steal your thread, but if you could get those tail lights made all clear, not just the top, we could probably get a group buy on those to keep the costs down, or I bet Nicole would like to carry them? I bet an all clear tail light would look awesome with the correct colored LED's. While your there, lose the bumperettes? My 02c. T

I like the next to last and the last both, maybe something in between IOW. It pikes up on the round-corner rectangles elsewhere on the design. In terms of the reflector delete, to my tastes it is an excellent idea. Nice thinking.
