Default Any more TBF cars out there for sale?

Since my top end fire on my s4, I have been trying to find a way to get another one. My 79 is in great shape and I thought about using the parts from the 88 on it but is still not the same. Anyone who has one at a reasonable price, I think I have almost everything to fix one up. I even have a very nice lipstick red interior. I would even consider using my 79 with 75k miles on it as part trade if you still need a car.

Thanks,

There are a lot of TBF cars out there, many are being driven by the unknowing.

I have gotten to the point that I expect to see excessive end play on most S4's and some later cars.

We have a low mileage car in the shop now that has .018-.020 end play.

Wow. Well if you find one that has an engine, I don't care if it is blown up or not. I have most everything to bring one back. The only issue with mine is that too much stuff burned under the hood to ressurect this one. Damn shame. I loved that car. If any of you guys know where a good body is, please keep me in mind. I have the suspension, interior and a good engine...

Thanks,

Frank,

I'll be in touch with you about my extra top end parts from the TBF I bought, as soon as I get a little further with the project. In a week or so I should have a pretty good feel for what parts I don't need.

Thanks Don, If I can't find another body, and can get the parts and wireing harness from you, and, if someone on the list will help me figure out how, I will drop the whole drive line in my 79. It is a great car, just not enough gas mileage or power. MY 88s4 was the quietest most compfortable sports car I have ever driven. It rode like a Rolls on the highway but handled like it was on rails. If I had known these cars were so good, I would have had one a long time ago. So, I will need to know how to wire the computer, and how to hook up the electronics from the 4spd trans. It is a much lighter car so should be pretty neat.
