This thread and the car lot in NJ thread really drive home the question about how many 928's are still on the road. There is at least 8 more hulks between the Austin VEEDUB salvage yard and a engine shop lot off I35.

What a waste!

Actually Don, there were cracks in the dash of the black one at the far passenger side.

Jaeger, To whom are you addressing your insightful comment?

I feel pretty sure that the wrecking yard where the cars are located got some sort of a package deal on all 5 at one time. I could be wrong, but maybe not. The guy inside even went so far as to tell me that the only sold as of yesterday was the black 944. It made me smile as I exited.
