To wide up front and careful spacer use required in the rear for 295... Hit a bad pot hole with those 245's on there Jon and you will not only break a wheel but you will also damage your fender badly.

My car must sit a little high up front, I don't see the wheels moving into the fender unless I hit something at speed. But then, they are called accidents...

I ordered 225/40/18 fronts and 285/35/18 rears.

You will be GOLDEN with those installed! I think I have 285/30's on my car though, but 35's should be fine...maybe a bit taller than stock so you might get some speedo error on the low side.

That will likely be just about perfect.

I'm a fan of the wider rubber so once my rears are done, I'll likely roll or pull the fenders slightly and see if I can't fit a 305/315 back there.

Keep in mind that as you go wider on the rear rubber without also going wider on the front you get increased understeer.

Went with 35's on the rear due to nasty Colorado roads.

So far as I know it has not been done.
Who knows, you could end up as- BIG MAN ON CAMPUS here.

Thanks! Yes, I'm running OEM 17x9 ET70 Cup II's up front with 255/40/ZR17's. Rears are 18x10 ET47 Cup II replicas with 265/35/ZR18's. Has more front grip than I'm willing to explore on the street. Seems flatter, less sidewall roll, can definitely tell you have more width up front. Ride is borderline harsh IMHO, but that's undoubtedly due in part to my Bilstein/Eibach combo. Have given some thought to putting the Bilsteins back on my stock springs.

That would be a cool set up. The new hunt is the mythical 17" CLW

My vote is to sell both and get a set that has better front size and offset...

Plan is to roll with the 18's for a little bit to judge for myself. These fell into my lap and others seem to like them. Are they my all time favorite wheel and will be the last wheels I buy, No.

The CLW's do look great, it would be nice if the front was 9" et 65 with a 10" rear.
