Default OB graveyard in Little Ferry NJ

I got lost yesterday driving my son around trying to get him to sleep. I ended up on a commercial section of Route 46 in Little Ferry. Lots of fast food places, used car lots, etc.

However, as I was zooming through this area, I thought I saw a bunch of older model 928s parked all in a row, but I thought I was seeing things.

However, Google maps has proved me right. See the link below, I hope it works.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...340.8,,0,13.83

I can't read the name of the business, but its next to an auto glass place. It appears to be an auto body shop. There's also a later model 928 parked out front.

I plan on going over there when I can, to see if he has a Blaupunkt Bamberg QTS in any of these cars he wants to sell me cheap. I don't really need any parts right now, but I thought it might be interesting to anyone who does.

Also, what's the story? Who has 3 OB's they just park in front of their business long enough that it shows up on Google?

You can also make out the roofline of a 5th behind the S4 along the other street.

I'm looking for 78 muffler and other items. Jadz928 is also looking for 78 items as well. Thanks for the updates when you can.

mmm looks interesting... Should a few of us get together and take a look at this? Not sure I'm in the market for new parts (need to have AC fixed first), but who knows lol...

Okay this is weird... Was on 287 s off of 80 and saw the burnt shell of Vreeland Tires in Parsippany Lake. A black older body style was on a trailer.

Drove back after my appointment and got close. Had 928S with a 4 added. Wonder if it is an 86.5... Left my phone number...

Using google maps "satellite" view, there appears to be six, by counting the distinctive headlights. At least when that picture was taken.

I went and checked them out last summer. They're pretty trashed. There was an S4 automatic I asked the guy about and he gave me some crazy price. There was also an 86 that he kept telling me was "a collectors item". Translation - He want's a completely unrealistic price.

Plenty of Bamberg QTS radio/cassette units on German eBay.
I have purchased three from that source.
