Default Question about coloured center caps!

Hi,

I think this is an easy one for the experts in the Forum.
I’m trying to get some Porsche coloured centre caps, but I have some doubts about correct size and also if there is a name for my wheels! I know they aren’t the Tele Dials, those were the early ones.
Is there a specific name for my wheels? And what are the correct measures for the centre caps?
TIA

Regards

'Manhole cover' is the name most often used to refer to those wheels.

Center cap diameter is 3inches or 75mm in Europe. You might consider painting them yourself when you see the price. It's easy to do and to get good results. Search for center cap painting on this forum and you will find.

funny.
ages ago I put on michelin winter tires on the rims. The fella asked me if they were to a Buick.
I know of the Buick rim but can't at the moment remember the vehicals name.
Perhaps late 80's early 90's Regal ?

Just paint them yourself- cost about $15 in paint and brushes and tape. Here's the full procedure: http://reutterwerk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18913; and here are a few more pictures: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...-and-caps.html.
Very easy to do.

Tape? You don't need no stinking tape. Just some patience and a steady hand.

I painted these for my Boxster...

Used Testors Enamel from the local Hobby Lobby and a brush trimmed down to a thinner tip. Did a clear coat over after dried a couple of days.

Actually it took me back to my pre-teen days of building models. Don't forget to get a little bottle of thinner with the paint.

Just an FYI that the plastic coloured caps are about 1/2 the price of the metal ones and look identical.
