Default RDK sensor removal question.

Hi,

My RDK (tyre pressure control) system is by-passed at the computer (jumper between pins 2 and 13 on the harness connector).

My question is: If I remove the sensors on the car, will I get a warning fron the dash computer?

I'm working on my suspension right now and notice that all the sensors brackets are quite rusted. As I don't need the sensors anymore, I would remove them.

I think it would not cause any problem as it is by-passed but want to make sure before removing everything - and breaking few bolts!

What do you experts think?
Thank you very mutch.

Hmmm...good question. I wouldn't think so but I have never done anything like that or heard of anyone doing that. It will be interesting to see how this goes...

Yank'em if you want. The only thing they're wired to is the RDK 'puter.

+928 - Think of the unsprung weight saving. Keep the Sensors though or at least the wiring as I think the plugs on the sensors are the same as the ABS sensor plugs.

Yes the plug has the ABS, RDK and the brake pad sensor all together.
As I don't want to cut any wire, I'll try to plug/cap the plug where the RDK wires go.

Thank you very mutch.
