Removing circlip from clutch pedal
Ok, is there such a thing as a stupid 928 question?
After reading the quicknotes on how to install the PKlutch, I dove into the project and realized I haven't the slightest idea what magic incantation I'm supposed to be repeating (under my breath) to remove the circlip that is attaching my clutch pedal to the clutch rod.
Anyone got a quick tip for what I'm supposed to do to remove this circlip?
Guess I'm still cutting my shark teeth...

I just use my fingers to take it off and reinstall it.
You have to separate the halves a bit for it to start sliding.

IIRC, I used a very small flat bladed screwdriver to pry it off. I suppose a pair of needle nose pliers could be opened slightly with one tip on each side to push the clip off.
Hope the clutch master cylinder lines up with the two bolts through the firewall when you go to tighten things up...

Sean,
Success!
Just some gentle pressure to lift the open end of the circlip up over the post was all it took and it slid right off with finger pressure.
Jarrod,
Yeah... When I pushed the bolts back in to tighten them up, I had that moment where the bolt didn't find it's home immediately. But it dropped in and tightened up nicely.
Now to go adjust my clutch pedal depth...
Thanks guys!
