There are yearly road tax incentives in Germany to have old cars comply with later MY smaller emission regulations.

Ah, OK. I knew that there was aEuro version of the ealy 32v engine MY85/86 for Germany which had cats/O2 loop, but didn't know there was also a vrsion of the 16v engine also adapted.

But of course it is only the EZ-F octane loop you need to us to be able to safely run on 95 fuel. How is that connected at present ?

The CO (%vol) is measured:
1. between 2500 and 3000 rpm and should read <0.3 (mine reads 0.007 at 2770)
2. between 900 and 1200 rpm and should read <0.5 (mine reads 0.019 at 960)
