Default my last resort....

before I go through the trouble to refinish my 16" flats with RDK.
I just wondered if any one has a set of CUP 1's for sale....

PM me with what you have, even a set of rears will do.

Hahahahahahahahhhhh.... Good luck with that! When Rob had his for sale over a year ago I snapped them up! Rare as hens teeth (my new fav phrase for the week!) They are beautiful and awesome wheels though! Best ever put on a 928 from the factory IMHO!

I passed up a set in 2004 for $500 !
Better investment than the stock market!

"Hahahahahahahahhhhh.... Good luck with that!"

I noticed they are tough to come by...

Ugh...$500 for a SET?! I'd buy all of them I could find and then turn them for 2X that and be WAY ahead. Of course you have already figured that out, so you would have beaten me to it!

That said, I am not sure the 17" wheels will work w/ your 16" wheel sensors. The sensors on the chassis might be to far from the sensors on the wheels or maybe not lined up quite right. I am not sure about that, just thinking off the top of my head... I'd probably disable the system and put on some really sexy Carrera Light Weight wheels! I think S4's w/ those wheels look like new cars!

Good luck with your quest.

Just thinking again (yes, it is making my head hurt!) I wonder how many flat dish wheels w/ RDK's are out there? I can't imagine many!

I have a set of flat dish wheels (chromed no less) with RDK on the car for every day use.

I have a set of genuine 7 & 8's with one extra 9 inch rim I would consider trading for a set of 17 in Fikse or Kinesis wheels. Probably un-realistic and you are probably looking for 7.5's & 9's, but I figure it is worth a shot. Also, I believe the 8's are very hard to find. The rims are all straight but will be refinished before they go on my 80. I can grab some pics next time I am up at my desert place (within the week). PM me if you have any thoughts or interest.

I bought a set of OEM Cup 1's from a Rennlist member a year ago for $1200. They were from his '93 GTS that he put Turbo wheels on, then later sold on.

The flat dish wheels , still look quite good if-they look new. imo-
If they appear scoured or the paint is flaked or faded they appear as an eyesore way less forgiving than most Mags. I haven't got the slightests clue why. Perhaps it's a type of superficial similie on or about the human body?- I don't know.
Wierd- and that's how I feel -dammit.
