Dan,
Yes, he's my Dad's (Herb Doerr Jr.) first cousin. Joe comes from the family of 11 kids of Carl and Mary Doerr. Carl was brother of my late Grandfather, Herb Doerr Sr.
I believe I have met Joe (at my grandmother's funeral), but I'm more familiar with his brother, John.

TailPipe, are you the guy/s that bought the 928 from Davidsfarm?

That station wagon in your avatar is making me think so.

well kinda Trip, that video was a little staged, no 928s were actually harmed in the video lol. that car still lives alive and well in my garage with the six others that we have here and actually was in attendance at sharks in Hell last summer. We played with the car just before I had it all apart for all new suspension parts and alignment. I have owned that car for twelve years and have put about 100,000 mile on it, it looks and runs better than the day I bought it. I need to put a new ignition in it one of these weekends that will prolly be the car that we bring to the party. I also have car #131 here also.

Oh yes we also own the imfamous ratmaster roadster the convertable 91 buick stationwagon from daves farm too...

So are you Pat or Paul? You need to put up some vids of your collection. There's only one or two on "RedNeckRatRodPat's channel. There used to be a few more. I think there was a vid of you guys driving to Illinois (I believe) to pick up a black one, but all those vids are gone...

To tell you the truth, that 928 vid is what introduced me to Dave and his vids. I was up there once and hung out for a weekend. Lots of drinking and and one hell of a killer hangover... I don't think I'd make the trip again... Plus with all the bs going on now...
