Dash mat...which one do I buy?
1989 928 S4
Did a search on dashmats, but not much info on which one is the best, etc.
Don't want a dash cap - just looking for something to cover up the cracks that are starting to grow.
Want to order one in the next few days and was just looking for some links/tips/experience on which company's mat fits bet, etc.
Are the carpet ones better than the other fabrics offered? I think you can get them in a valor and other textures, no?
Thanks!

I have my eye on the "Tech Fibre" though.
Would love to see what this "carbon fiber vinyl" that I've seen on some sites is all bout.

Dash mats do look like hell--I had one for a while before I had Rob Budd recover my dash and pod. It is not a cheap fix but it really is the only way to have it look good.

I agree; I'd much rather have the original dash looking like it should.
.....but until I can get it fixed properly, I'd much rather look at a mat vs seeing those cracks.
The cracks are not even that bad right now; but, I swear, the more I look at them/stress over them, the longer they get.
I don't mind the look of this fabric.....
I mean, for $50, it's worth not having to see the cracks.
