Hi

Having done some extremely silly speeds in my S2 and running out of downforce with my standard S2 wing on, there is NO WAY i would attempt any speed over 180 without a wing...I like living too much for that

All the best Brett

Reading the previous threads on this subject, I'm still going to remove the horrible black rubber spoiler on my '86. It just looks like an afterthought, something that simply wasn't part of the original design. Oh, wait; that's what it was. Now, the s4 wing? Looks fine as long as it's in the same color as the rest of the body (but 928motorsports version looks even better). As far as downforce, I'm not going to be doing high triple digit speed. I bought the car for it's handling, not straight line speed. I just wish it had better gearing for normal road speeds, instead of cruising at 125 mph, which I'll never get to do. Basically, my four speed auto is pretty much used as a three speed, with an overdrive for highway use (but that's another topic entirely).
