The 928 has been sitting since Nov and not started.
Batt. has been on trickle, all fluids were fresh.
what process do you follow before firing the engine?......Im thinking of pulling the fuel pump fuse to spin the engine and move the oil. I should add ambient temp should hit +3c this aft.

Malcolm,
Spring startup, you lucky boy, I'm surrounded by 2 feet of snow and there is more in the forcast for Thursday am. I will be lucky if I get the car out to to console myself on April 15th.

You can do a couple drops down the hole like Ole suggests too.
But that doesnt get the top of the cylinder.
If you go into town you can get fogging sprays for snowmobiles, dirtbikes, skidoos, etc.
BelRay 6in1, or SeaDoo lube are a couple. Basically a light oil formula in an aerosol can.

BTW car isn't moving for another reason........I sold the wheels off of it and dont have the C3s yet.....only taken me 4 mths
I know the oil pan is aluminum but see if you can get one of those oil pan heaters and set it underneath...thin up the oil and allow it to flow quicker at startup. Always used those on my cars in MN....the oil heats up..then everythign above it from radiant heat.
Malcolm,
You are as snowed in as I am, what a sad thought. I am in northern Vermont and we just had the 3rd largest storm on record. Where I live we got 25 inches and are expecting moore over night and into the am on Thursday. The real worry here is a warm up with all that snow a melt will mean a flood and Ice Dams on the rivers. Either way the little red car stays indoors
