cable adjustments.
to adjust the cables,
first adjust the throttle cable to junction ( this cable goes around the wheel) make sure it has a bit of slack so you can hear the click of the TPS when the quad is released about 3mm of ball travel till you hear the click should do
Next adjust the foot pedal cable this should also have about 3MM of slack ( a helper to push the pedal is a good thing here) push the pedal down and see if you can move the throttle cable ( wheel) more , verify full throttle opening
Next add on the bowden cable with the quad in the released position place the ball end on so it is a slip on fit, not a pull the cable nor the cable having slack this is your starting point for fine tuning. Next add on the CC cable this will have a bit more slack about 4MM . with your helper make sure that the quad moves to closed position and verify that the TPS is in fact clicking to the closed position.
Roadtest take a 7MM and 8 MM wrench with you warm the car up.
then see where the trans is shifting,
start out in 3rd selected floor it, see where the first shift is taking place if its below redline then the Bowden is too loose 1/4 turn tighter then retest till you get redline shifts for first ..
that should set things up be patient fine tuning the cable takes time
