Awesome, I was just thinking that no set of tires could handle that one run when the sparks started flying...

Funny thing is, as great as a driver as he is (and I am a big fan), he struggles in the WRC.
He is very cool about it, has great respect for the other drivers, but seems to crash almost every day.
This is no indictment of Ken Block, I really am a big fan. It just shows the level of difficulty of the WRC. If this guy struggles, you know it's hard.

WRC mexico is this weekend! I'll be watching it this evening I hope.
It is amazing that someone as skilled as Block still ends out of the top 10 most of the time.

Awesome driver and brilliant cuts and shots in that video ... even if it is a shameless promotion for DC ... good marketing strategy for sure. If you look carefully you can see he tags the barrier at the top of the banked oval and a wire fence.
If you go to his site he has more videos like that ... one of the first ones is around what looks like an abandoned airfield and hangars, and is just as well edited and shot as this one. This one gave a few statistics, like he used four sets of tyres to do the whole thing, and the car has 530 WHP.
Here it is ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rs-jAImScms
928 content ... I'd like to see a high HP 928 do a bit of tyre burning gymkhana work.
