Default quick AC question

I did search for a time but did not find my answer. I am sure the answer is there but rather than spend an hour reading I was hoping someone could answer quickly so I get more done today, so thank you in advance.
I just got a AC seal kit from Roger. I took the allen head screws off of the top of the compressor. There are two black seals in there(4 total if you consider taking the other top plate off. I do not see those seals in the kit. Should these be replaced too? They look important for sealing to me?

You need to ask that from Roger, he should know what is in the kit and what is not.

What I am guessing is that they may be part of a seperate compressor seal kit. I would love to put them back in and move on, but I am guessing that once they have been seperated new ones should go in.

I do have the kit from Roger but have not used it yet, will be using it in a couple of weeks. I may be wrong, but I think the kit is only for the hose connections and not for that plate that is held on the compressor by those allen screws. If this is right you should contact Roger for more seals or go buy the proper size, I know some pep boys carry different size O-rings. Maybe Sean can respond since I know he has used the kit.

This is a 6E171 right? Those are large o-rings and they do fail and leak. I would definitely replace all four of them while the compressor is out. Also, you should replace the valve cores on the top of the compressor. They also leak and are a bitch to track down. BTDT. That or weld them shut, they are useless on a 928 anyway.

I did find the seals local and I am glad I got them changed. The old ones looked very flat and I do not think they would have held water. The compressor is still in the car but they were easy to get to while the TB is out. Dan, I am assuming you are speaking of the valve stems that have the black plastic caps. Can you please verify. Thank you
