Nice looking car! Who are you? You aren't too far away from where I live.

HAW that was probably me! Was driving my '81 beater to see Bill at Ignacio Motorsports. I just got it like 3 weeks ago-its kind of a basketcase/long term project. Runs pretty strong, but its leaking some ATF. Body is gorgeous, paint sucks/front seats trash/usual electrical gremlins present and accounted for. I LOVE IT TO PIECES!! I just need to figure out how to turn a wrench better or else I'm gonna go broke.
(The color is actually rosewood). I'm up in the Petaluma area myself

Shoot me a PM the next time you're in the area. I'm in Novato. My fiancee and I were driving in her beater burgundy Jetta last night when I caught glimpse of you in the fast lane. She kept insisiting that I try not to catch up to something in this car that makes less torque than what it takes to tighten wheel lugnuts.

No kidding! This has to be one of the very few of these kinds of threads that actually resulted in a response from the car/driver in question.
I gave up a long time ago. It seems Socal is polluted with 928 owners that know nothing of Rennlist.

When I picked my 87 up this past August in Seattle and drove it cross country to Richmond. I joined and posted to the list . On my way out of Seattle a guy pulls up to me and gives a thumbs up. TUrns out it was Tom M from the list here. Small world

I've been a lurker for some time now, but the out-pouring of 928 lovage has convinced me to become a fully paid up Rennlist member
:-)
I'll post some pix of the '81 just as soon as I take some. The aluminum dryer ducting for the air intakes by the previous PO is pretty goddamned hilarious. There's a roughly 70 item to do list. *sigh* In my defense-the body is real straight and it runs pretty good and it was cheap.
@springman: I'm the the west side - oddly enough East D St...

Sweet. I grew up on I street. I'm out by G&G now. By the way Billy McNair in Novato who's shop is by Bill Ravina's is a darn good 928 wrench. I could give you his number if you are interested.

Yea. IIRC he is Mako928 on here. I assume you do.
It looks like there are more 928 owners in the Northbay than I thought.

Here I is.
Colin welcome to r-list. With the support here you will be wrenching in no time.
There are quite a few 928's here in the North Bay.
Day before yesterday I was in the '85 on Novato bl. And drove past a black '83.
Funny though that Andy and I have not driven past each other yet.
If you want to see a fantastic '86.5 get together with Paul. His is a fantastic example.
By the way good seeing you Paul at Tom's shop the other day.
