Default Unknown/unlisted option codes

I've checked a few cars (S4's) for sale and have repeatedly come across some option codes which I can't find in any thread I've searched here; and I can't find them using any of the option decoders or lists available.

Does anyone have any clue what these options are ....

I 239
M 317
I 561
I 687

561 - Airbag for Driver's side
317 - Equipment for Countries with Dust-Laden Air

The 317 option is actually for sand/dust separators on the air intakes, in place of the venturi tubes that go from the top of the radiator to the airbox. Common on Middle-Eastern cars.

I don't have info on the other two.

Thanks Hilton
I'd looked at some of those numbers and as they were close to others guessed what area they might relate to, but couldn't find anything definite listed. I'd be interested to see what the separators look like and how they work.

Dave / Hilton,
My Australian delivered GTS had the M317 dust venturi's. I showed them to Jon H when he dropped off an X pipe for me. Not sure if they were original or retrofitted by the dealer (Scuds in Sydney) as the original owner used the car to commute to a business he had in Western NSW.
Cheers, Charles

Can you describe what they did and looked like Charles. I assume they replaced part of the tube and were cyclonic separators of some sort ... and therefore could be fitted later? Were they restrictive? I've used vortex separators for separating solids out on large commercial water supplies to maintain high flow with minimum pressure drop .. so I'm thinking they're something like that.
