Does the airpump apply air to the cats ALL the time or only at idle? curious.

I'd assume that since it is belt driven, it's all the time.

And flow increases with RPM.

All the time, except at WOT, when the bypass valve dumps pumped air into the airbox. (To let the rich WOT fueling cool the cats.)

thanks Ken...thats kind what i thought playing around with the valve. A vacuum CLOSES the valve and sends air to the CATS...anything other and it dumps back into the airbox.
