Anyone in the Syosset, NY area?

If so let me know if you would mind checking out a vehicle there for me. Jumping over here from the air cooled 911 forum, getting the bug for a 928 as wife doesnt like the ride of the 911 and been in love with the 928's for many years...

Thanks!

Kenny

I live 5 minutes away. I could look tomorrow night (later in the evening). Won't have wheels until Friday afternoon (all cars are out or in the shop).

Where is it?

By the way, for the asking price you may want to look at a few of the cars Wilhoit has for sale on Ebay. Similar features/mileage and probably better condition, although this one looks very, very well maintained.

If you like the color, I'd go with the one above--he is known here and is meticulous with his cars.

Well, looks like may be getting the one in WA. Working out payment stuff. Good part of decision based on their reputation and responsiveness. Full maintenance records, recently replaced steering rack, new battery, TB already done, etc., etc.. <fingers crossed> Thanks for the help of so many here!

Was gonna get a 87-89 911 but after having had a 911 before and a 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo (still wish I had it back, sold in 2007 and it only had 40k miles on it and was in pristine condition) which my wife did not like riding in that much due to the stiff rides figured the 928 would more match her style and such..

Well, bit the bullet and bought the 89 928S4 from Park Place, binder full of records, TB, WP and steering rack all already done.

Plus, they are asking $38,500 for the 1987 in Syosset, NY! YIKES! And it is not a GT!

Agreed Michael! AGREED! Spoke to the guy there, they finally called FOUR DAYS after I sent them an email!, and kept extolling how it was a 2 owner car, blah, blah, blah. Same mileage as the one I bought with is 2 years newer and has all records... Getting hooked up with a guy in our building who owns a car transport company to get it shipped enclosed for a great price too...
