Default Cooling fan problems

Hello,
Last summer I had a problem with my cooling fans. When AC turned on one of the fans always went full speed.
After some searching (fuseholder, fuses, wireing) I got myself a new controlunit (928.618.418.00). Replaced it and everything worked fine. After a few months again the same problem got back again

Does anyone has an idea what could be the problem here?

Ofcourse I'll examine it closely next spring but I'm curious if anybody has a clue.

Thanks,
Paul

I believe the passenger side fan is supposed to kick on when the AC is running. Here is a good guide on troubleshooting the HVAC: https://www.928gt.com/t-wallyhvac.aspx

Both fans should run at the same time. If only one fan runs, the first things to check are the fuses (one for each fan) and the battery connections.

Further - whenever the AC is on both fans should run...
