Hi All - I just purchased a 928 1986.5 auto and am doing the usual tune-up things. I pulled the distributor caps and rotors and foolishly neglected to mark the orientation of the rotors when I took them out. I can't find anything in the WSM that shows how to get the rotors lined up correctly again.
Can anyone point me to a procedure or description of how to make sure my new rotors are oriented correctly?
This is the 32-valve engine with one distributor mounted on the front of each cylinder head.
Thanks! Appreciate the help.

When crank is at TDC and the timing marks on the cams are aligned as seen thru the vent ports on top, the rotors should be close to the three o'clock position.

Thanks! I was having visions of going through the entire TB/WP process just to get it running.
Plan to do that anyway, of course, but just wanted to hear it run first.
