Anyone have an RMB laying around they are not going to use?
Since I heard Charles Payne's 87, I have been wanting to get one for mine. I would love to find one at a good price. Sorry to be cheap but this thing has really hit the wallet this month. This is for the 88s4.
Thanks,

No cats, big resonators and a RMB does sound about right, pretty quite when it needs to be and what a wonderful sound it makes when you get hard on the throttle.
The same setup with small resonators is a bit to loud for me.

Ed, I am with you! I even had a king of exhaust sound (a Mustang owner) tell me he LOVED the sound of my S4! LOL!!!
Greg EURO85 would be way to loud for you now...I am still trying to decide if I should tone it down a bit. I think it would be pretty easy by replacing the current mid mounted muffler with a nice little Flowmaster 20...then it would sound about like my race car...I like that one!

Can anything be done with the mufflers on an '85? I've searched and searched (at least I feel like I have) and have come up with nothing. Need to keep the cats in California, but would love to get a little more of a V8 rumble.

You can have someone do a custom dual setup for your car. I know the '86.5 has one from the factory. Perhaps Roger or Carl's exhaust system will work for you; or you can even take your car to a good exhaust shop and they can build one up for you. I as well as another Rennlister on here know a place close to Napa if you decide to go that route.
