Default How to remove rear glovebox lid

I'm thinking about having the rear glovebox lid redone by Paul, in new leather.

It looks like the hinges are held on by hollow pins. Is there a trick to getting them out, other then using a punch? Do they need to be pressed out from the outside in? Or from the inside (the glovebox) out?

Thanks in advance

Outside in. Lift the leather on the corners and you will that the each corner has a hole where you can a thin metal rod to push the pins.
