Default Still looking for a car…

Unfortunately I am still looking for a good candidate for my next 928. The one I had been looking at didn't pan out through no fault of the current owner.

So, if anyone comes across a good 32v car or possibly a twin dizz euro S. Five speeds are preferred. I'm not particular on color. I would prefer no rub strips and LSD.

There is only one car I am currently still interested in and it's in Washington state. I would need a very good mechanical ppi though since I'm in North Carolina.

I was considering 90GT 5 speed white/full saddle leather in Oregon with 76k real clean and maintained.Shipping would of been arounf $1600 to Jersey. If you would like more info I can give you the gentlemans number(real nice guy)?

Skrilla, I'm really looking at trying not to ship. The '89 in jersey seems like my best option currently. I just really need a good PPI done. I've already talked to someone dealing with the car.

If you can get it over to Cheech at Rennwork in Elmsford, NY (about 30 minutes away plus tolls) I'd strongly recommend him to do the PPI.

You can also use Autosport in Englewood, NJ who are closer (and no tolls).

Mickster, sounds good to me. I'll try them if I can't get anyone else to check it out. I can't go up to take the car anywhere, that is my limiting factor right now.

Currently seeing if they are willing to take it for a PPI. The car at a minimum needs a fan control module. It's currently wired to run the fans constantly.

... and at a minimum: TB/WP; top end refresh; belts/hoses/fuel lines; AC refurbished/134 conversion; and cosmetically mutilple dash cracks, exterior dings ... but still work $8k.

Well, that kinda goes without saying. The '89 seems like the seller is expecting me to take thier word for it and seem pretty negative with my asking abou a PPI. Makes me want to follow up on the '87 car instead.

This car really needs the above and more ... and over 3 years since TB/WP replacement is not recent.
