Vac diagram
Okay. I am beginning my assembly that I can with out the parts back from powder coating. I have this vac diagram.
What I can't clearly tell from this is where do you run the vac line from right under the intake butterfly? Does that go to the air pump valve by the coolant tank that I removed during the intake refresh?
If so, I can just put a cap over this nipple on the intake and forget about it? The diagram shows (I think) it going to the EGR valve. I am assuming this is the thing I remove that controls if air goes to the cats or back to the plastic air filter housing (thus the Exhaust Gas Recirculation name.)
I capped the metal tube at the cats since I no longer have an air pump.
Input would be appreciated
