No, I have 25mm shaft in GTS with washers and circlip. Zero issues with TT in past 6K miles. Clamp is same part in both 25mm and 28mm 4sp automatic. Shaft diameter difference is well within its tolerance.

As of last year, Super Bearings were only available for the 25mm shafts. Not sure they are for 28mm shafts as well now?

Erkka and Dan, thanks for the fast replies.

Constantine, can you please email me on doverington AT ozemail DOT com DOT au to discuss bearings for the 25mm Auto shaft that I intend to fit in lieu of the 28mm shaft - I've tried your 'R&D' website / contact nut with no success so far.

Cheers all,

Dave

2. Constantine, do you offer the 'super bearings' for the 25mm shaft?

Thanks all,

Hi Dave,

On your first question, Erkka is correct. Just shows how loose of a tolerance fit the original clamp has.

As far as your second, yes we have our Super Bearings for the 25mm.

One point about using the circlip, bearing and washers, follow the WSMs to the letter about setting up the correct distances between the flex plate and flywheel.

I will send you an email that you have given in your last post on this thread.

Cheers,

Hi Dan,

We now have them for the 28mm drive shaft too! In fact just got done building up a 28mm drive shaft TT for a customer this weekend.

Kind regards,
