Default F/S 1979 928 Southern Cal.

I have been eyeing this one. Almost too good to be true. Not affiliated with this car. But after working on my project 1981 for 5 weekends this is looking real good.

Except for the front spoiler - very nice!!

Is it just me, or is the original shifter on the 78/79's a lot longer than the 80-82 cars?

Look carefully at the seats in picture 3, then the front seats in picture 6. Don't look the same to me, and i have never seen those in pic 3 on a 928!

That brown seat in pic 3 is probably on the 911 in the background!

You are right. Car needs a rear one to match.

See my post #4, looks like they are mixing pics from the 928 and 911 in the background.

My '78 built late in '78 (Nov or Dec- have to check driver's door panel again for exact month) is #342 so this car must be the first built in '79 ?

Cockney Brown I think - very nice if they could get the pictures right.

Sub-10k original miles? Surely its worth more than 8500?

Damn.. if a RHD one like that came up for sale at $12.5k I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I love the colours!

The collector car market is circling the bowl. These types of cars either bring a good price right away as someones love interest or they sit forever.
