Default Photo request

I am in need of a photo of both throttle switches wired properly for an 80 US. auto.

Mine were apparently not properly wired when I took mine apart. Two black wires and two brown wires, one of each color approx 2"'s is longer than the other. I assume they go to the forward lower idle switch... but I need to know which color wires go to what side of the switches...

Thanks.

If there are only two wires going to a switch then it doesn't matter which way they are wired. The switch only completes the circuit. Now if you have two sets of wires then you need to know which set goes to which switch. You need to look at the wiring diagrams and identify the colors on the wires. Usually the browns are ground and the other wire is power. One or both of the black wires should have a stripe of a different color to identify which is which.

I already figured out the length diff... I know which set goes where.

So it doesn't matter which wire goes on which end of the switch so long as the connectors are clean, hooked and the switch is adjusted properly.

Default Thanks!

I kinda thought that was the deal...
as with everything on this car if it could be screwed up.... it was. It was more than slightly abused during it's lifetime.
