After installing new springs and shocks I noticed
the upper A arm ball joint rubber seal was cracked and has a small
leak. Not sure if I did this but regardless it needs to be replaced.
The ball joint itself seems to be working smoothly.
I bought new rubber seals from Mark Anderson.
What is the best way to R&R these? I will do both.

remove the wheel, loosen the upper BJ bolt so that it can spin freely ( to about 5 threads holding it on) then get a long prybar and pry the nut upwards, this should break the BJ free you may have to hit the joint with a hammer. then unscrew the nut then add a dab of grease to the new rubber and carefully feed the new clamp onto the rubber after you have fitted it to the groove.
NOTE if you use a pickle fork to separate the joint then you will damage the rubber groove on the A arm
