I was reinstalling / replacingmissing fender liners today and discovered that I did not find any mount points for a fender well liner for the passeger rear wheel well aft side in front of the gas tank.

Am I missing some mount points or is there no cover for that part of the wheel well?

Only on GTS's and some of the later (90/91?) S4's and they are the molded fender well liners. You know the ones that are like $600 if you can even find them!

LOL, i am pretty sure most of us OB owner have looked under there and thought, "Damn, there is another thing I am missing!" Surprising that there is not one there to protect the fuel pump and plumbing.

In reality the only thing that is protected at the rear in the RHS rear fender is the securing nuts for the rear plastic bumper cover.

The inserts are used in the GTS to reduce cabin noise.

When I reinstall the rear bumper cover I apply body sealant to the nuts and the exposed ends of the attachments studs to protect them from corrosion.
