87 Fuse 24 blows... can this effect no start?
Happy New Year,
Rick Jr and I are hard at this electrical...
Problem:
Fuse 24 blows every time I install. Immediately.
[Diagnostic connector, Current pulse tailgate, interior light.]
Diagnostic Connector, can this effect the "no start"?
even though we had it start once, 2 weeks ago?

NO it wont effect the start,
but it may fry the harness thats going up to the interior lights, and or you may have a shorted pull **** for the hatch, or grounded wires on the clock or ash light

Most likely place for a short in the interior lights circuit is above the interior light over the console. Pull it, disconnect it and try a fuse again.
While you're in there, even if its not whats causing the fuse to trip, stick some plastic tape on the roof above to insulate and protect from future problems.
