What was wrong with the F***ing O ring I supplied you with the nipple fresh from the manufacturer???
You want parts and then expect them to work - sheesh what is this World coming to.
Operator error - (were you drinking, smoking or having sex when the nipple was installed) you must have nicked the O ring so please be more careful in the future.
Please be aware that there will be no refund as you have had the part for at least two days and our warranty runs out after that.
You also entertained the thought of JB Weld and corresponded on that matter with my son - Sean. That is a $15 penalty to be applied to your next purchase.

Accepting advice from Mr Merlin, Jim M or anybody else is also a grievous penalty and your fine will be established early in the new year and will probably include lots of red wine.
Happy New Year

Roger, in the computer industry, we call this PEBKAC:
"Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair"

....red wine is definitely in order. What's your poison?

I'm going to regret asking this, but how did you check just the "O" ring?
And by your "new" reference, I'm also going to assume you installed the offending nipple with an "old" "O" ring?

WTF?

...didn't check just the o-ring. I must have nicked the new o-ring on the first go-around. I also used a slightly smaller hose clamp. So new o-ring [2nd] and new, smaller hose clamp did the trick.

Oh, and a bottle of Shiraz helped too

I've been mulling all afternoon whether or not to post pictures in this thread...
