just to make sure you are interperating your mixture right, 13.0-13.5 is rich. 14.7 is stoich and 16.4 is lean.
the numbers represent the mass of are relative to the mass of fuel. i.e. 14.7 lbs of fuel to 1 lb of fuel is stoich. therefore a lower number like 13.0 lbs of air to 1 lb of fuel would be richer.

You no longer have a dampener?

what was your dyno run? Did it have AFR too? That will be very telling!

Technically the best power is made around 13.0...but most tuners like the margin of safety that 12-12.5 gives (even richer boosted)

In general a stock 928 or close to stock 928 is pretty well tuned as is...my 84 Estate L jet racer is stock with a cat bypass & it makes great power at good AFR's and I haven't done ANYTHING to it....ZERO tuning...just run it...I am a bit lean in the midrange, but the AFR drops with rpm until about 12.6 at redline...hard to argue with 203whp-241 torque through an automatic when it was rated at 234hp-263 torque...
A chicken chit like me wants around 11-1 at 12 PSI, I do not care if I have some black smoke and leave some power on the table, at least I am not leaving parts on the pavement.

here is the dyno run. Now when i had this done, i did not have the fuel figured out at all, hense the lower numbers. what i did find on my spirited drive today is the car no longer has a "pull zone" from around 3-4k. timing is set on factory right now. And yes, i dont have a dampener anymore.

Why?

The dampener's are there to smooth out the fuel pulses with a batch fire system.

As Kibort would say, "a solution looking for a problem"......

/dear Lord, did I just quote Kibort?

you so just did!

From the research i did on this set up (im not the first to do that) the regulator will dampen the fuel pulses just fine. i plan on doing a stand alone system like Carl sells some time soon. :-)

What other mods are in your future? What kind of fuel pressure do you plan on running? What size injectors? What are the power goals?

I'm sticking with at least one dampener unless I go to a fully sequential system.

i have a set of euro heads. thinking of making a hybrid motor. no boost (unless some one gives me a set up for free). sticking with 24lb injectors. but after my test drive today, she is doing much better! i had it WAY to rich
