That looks like a reasonable body shop should be able to fix that. It will require far more body work to graft on a new quarter panel.
It hurts to see that! I've got virtually the same damage on my '91 $$$$4. Some redneck *** in a pickup backed into it and took off. Mine is going into the shop next month and there is no question that it can be made right without replacing the panel.....and for a hell of a lot less than $4k. Get the insurance check and find a good body shop owner that doesn't have a big boat payment due right away.
Paul i agree it is kinda expensive. things to consider; shop has 928 experience, one wheel will need to be checked for trueness and painted, includes wheel alignment, and oh yeah i'm not paying for it
Son-of-a-_ _ _ _ _ ! At least it's fixable. You've got to be happy about that. My 80 Euro got totaled (with me in it) back in the day. A person pulled out of a hospital with a neck brace on, and did not even bother to look. By-by one cool 928. T
Hi Martin ,i was on Via Capri and waiting for a car to turn on Via Siena until an Acura plowed to me from a dead stop 35mph-on 25mph max, my neck is stiff like a tree trunk. Front bumper pushed to the front car, rear muffler contorted like a sculpture . Then i noticed gasoline was leaking by the fuel pump and the passenger door is hard to open, also rear bumper was done......Its at West coast awaiting if the frame is damaged or not. Will post pictures soon.
