Default Looking for answers to water leakage to the fuse box

Last night with gusty winds and heavy rain ,the car did not start this morning and thats the first time in 3 years. With the help of the neighbor the car cranks but it did not turn over, looking to the fuse box i saw some water had seaped to some of the connectors ,EZK but not the LH so i proceeded to clean of some water drips- any members have any idea what causes the leak to enter the car to the fuse box area? I remember Dan at the Sharktoberfest had mention something about this issue, now i am experiencing this . Car still not start, but the dash stated rear light warning?

Luan-

Sounds like the blower box needs to be re-sealed:

Can you soak the car down when someone watches on the inside?

Yes ,i remembered replacing the ac freeze switch and cleaning it. Well i guess its time to re-seal the box once and for all. By the way Rob are you interested in Porsche factory AC compressor rebuilt in Japan and clutch, plus manual for Porsche 92 gts and up?

I've got 10PA20C's on both cars, both of them are fine, so I think I'm good for now. But 'tis tempting to put one on the shelf. Must resist....

When you reseal the box, be sure to clear the flapper drain on the firewall just in front of the fan box.

You'd be cleaning it from under the cowl cover, but it empties forward into the engine compartment. See the black oval thingee below and to the right of the coolant reservoir:

You might clean it as a matter-of-course, but its a little bit recessed and might be overlooked

I would think it could possibly be the windshield.

I removed a corner of the housing and resealed booth sides of the air diverter re fastened the cut out with metal strips and rivets. It has been in service well over 4 years and doing just fine.

I'll post some pictures
