The AA chips do good things for my 88's performance as far as I can tell, but it is not all that large. I've read the plots, showing how little they do for 89+, so I wouldn't bother with anything later than 88. I've also read how much more they do for the 85-86 cars.

Mine dynoed at 289 RWHP with those chips on an all stock exhaust.

I've had to pull out a couple of AA chips from cars 87 and up car, that wouldn't pass Texas emissions. Cars ran much better w/o them, mixture was way to rich.

so after all the feed back,looks like 89-newer did not benifet from chips unless you where in stock form,no mods-air or exhaust,so its safe to say that these cars are tweak pretty good from factory. looks like head cam package with fuel support is one option,or blown is the other,but requires a ton of money,thanks guys for all your input.

On my 87 the Autothority chips gave alot of better low end responce.Bought those way back in 1994 but now with shark tuner and progammable chips is the best way to go.
