Never ceases to amaze me, people want to sell a car but they do absolutly nothing to make it look presentable, nor do they even read what they wrote for spelling errors. He writes like a kid who is used to doing all communication with text messages.
Yes it's a Jubilee edition, but AFAIK only the interior was special and this one is in need of major work.
This car was for sale last year if I remember correctly. At that time is was advertised as a not running due to being parked for so long. I like the ad "Custom interior from the factory but needs to be redone". Once an interior has gone to crap it is no longer an asset, custom or otherwise.
While I'm not bidding, it is a Euro 5 speed. Notwithstanding the jubilee factor. It would be a good rebuilder project if one could get it for around 1500 maybe and are ready to do most of your own work.
Yea, if someone was looking for a worthy car to save (read, spend a small fortune on and not have a car worth the amount spent) then this would be a good one. While it is no better than any other '82 EURO S 5spd it is a bit more special due to the interior (that would need to be redone)...the question is *COULD* the interior be redone just as it came out of the factory or is that not going to happen???

Of course its possible to rebuild to factory specs. Its just question of $$$$$ what it takes. There are old Bugatti's, Ferrari's etc which have been build from scratch around tacho needle found from scrap heap and they look exactly like original did back some 50 years ago.
Only problem is that in 928's case it takes at least $40k to do it if absolutely all parts need to be purchased new. If for example that special seat fabric is no longer available I'm sure someone can make it. Lets say $5 for fabric remake and another $5k for rest of interior and it looks exactly like in brochure.
If fully restored 928 would cost $100k there would be people on queue to buy into such project and any half decent body would cost at least $10k. Eventually once enough large portion of 928's still in existence have been run into ground day will come when full rebuild makes financial sense. Now we are at bottom of curve and its long slow rise before we are anywhere near that point. But that day will come, eventually. 356, early 911 and some versions of 914 are already there.
