Rog called to ask me to pass on some information for him.

He's going to be out of the office for a couple of days, and won't post pics of the car until later this week. His wife, Zane, is in for some surgery at the hospital and will be there for a few. Won't go in to the details but things should go smooth.

Thanks for all the emails and phone calls.
Zane had some fairly regular but serious surgery this morning.
The operation was at 9.00am but afterwards they would not release her to her hospital room because they could not increase the oxygen blood levels to a satisfactory level.
Scared the crap out of me as I sat there in the waiting room hour after hour and was not allowed to see her.
She is resting peacefully this evening but heavily sedated. Hopefully long hours of rest will work wonders.
It sure makes you realise how much family means to you.
Roger

Yikes, sounds way too exciting. Hope she's doing better soon. I'll try to get up and see if I can visit tomorow.

If normal ROW production got on the way in May '77 and '78 model year ended in August '78 total of 2646 cars were done over 10 + 10 = 20 months. This means on average little over 132 ROW models made each month and 1/2 of the production run done before end of 1977 calendar year. So maybe late November '77 is possible but not much earlier. In any case almost all mid MY changes had been done some months and several 100 ROW models before in late summer 1977.

PS. I gleaned my 6000+ number from Brian Long's book (as it was the closest reference point to me at the time). Why is he off by so much?
Long's numbers contain all '78 MY cars and maybe 40% of '79 MY cars which where done before end of December 1978. All MY info is wrong in that list as it contains how many cars were made each calendar year. Almost all sources have same problem.

All US models yes but not ROW's. None of the ROW cars have it.
