Just curious: What vehicle was YOUR main vehicle before deciding upon owning a 928.
I had an 85 UR-Quattro.
Miss it. Enjoyed it more than my second gratifying car-the S4.
sigh.

Mike is back ..........hope your well!
Cant compare my previous cars to the 928.........I'm primarily a truck guy around the farm anyway due to hauling, towing, fishing, hunting etc.
I did get my speed jollies from street motorcycles in the past.........had to go racing before I was dead or in jail for life

Book will be out in 2 years.
Anyway, I live one day at a time, hoping for the best. Learnt a lot about myself and 'others'.
Thankyou for being kind and concerned.- You are a heck of a nice guy.
I haven't forgotten.
One day...

Bought my Pantera new, and there isn't a valid way to compare one to another. The 928 is as different as night is to day, with the Pantera.
Hands down the Pantera is my favorite.

Interesting Question
So, at that point in time, I actually was driving a 240Z Datsun...hey remember that? (When they were Datsun..not Nissan) (Mine had the good carbs and I had several offers for the carbs....seemed odd to me at the time).....before that was the party bus, a 1971 Cadillac Eldorado Ragtop.....room for you and ten of your closest friends.....Vacuum controlled everything from hell...and front wheel drive to boot. And, that came after two Pontiac Trans Ams....the 1978 was a POS, and the 1971 (455 HO) was incredible..to many mods to mention but what a car.. (Yes the suspension was heavily modified...it was basically a stock car with license plates).
However, between 1984 or so and 2007 when I finally decided to buy my 928, it was a series of 4x4 SUV's for lifestyle and family reasons.
Now, it just kills me to have to park it for four months a year and go back to the truck..........oh well.
