Default WANTED! 5-Speed Shift ****

Looking for a good used condition 5-speed shift **** for a '86.5 or newer car. All I really need is the rubber **** and the shift pattern button along with the base. I don't need the leather to be in good condition as it's going to get sent to Paul C.

If anyone has one laying around it would help out my "project". I've already checked with 928 INTL and they no longer have any, same for Roger. Mark Benton at The Nine Source doesn't have any either, and he's the one working on my car.

So this is a call to the rest of the community. If you've got one, or know of one someplace, give me a shout please!

Jon,
Check w Mark at 928 INTL. They are having their 50% off special on all used parts.
See if they have a GTS shift ****, it's a GREAT upgrade!!

AFAIK nobody has a replacement for the insides of the manual shifter, the "rubber" thing.

Looks like I'm in business after all. Mark had one set aside for me when I called but I didn't get him on the phone.

Danglerb,
I think DR sells the instert, but it looks like it's aluminum. You could probably paint it to the color you want. (Black w white shift patern?)

Good news! I've got a new (to me) 5-speed shift **** and boot on it's way to Paul C.

Looking forward to a black Alcantara example finishing off the interior!
