In my limited experience, by the time that tapered roller bearings seem to need re-adjustment beyond initial setup, what they really need is replacement. Wheel bearings are way cheap in the big picture. Worn bearings risk damage to the spindle and sometimes the hub. Wheel bearings are way cheap in the big picture. No big challenges to installing them. Worn they risk damage to tires and suspension due to inability to get a good alignment. And they are pretty cheap, even in the small picture.

Buy good name-brand bearings and seals. Avoid the discount brands and packages sold at chain parts places. Use good grease, pack them well, adjust them per the WSM procedure. Wally's finger-tight guide is a very good one. It's bette to have them a bit loose than even the least bit too tight; zero-clearance leaves no room for lubrication on the roller faces. They overheat and destroy themselves, along with the parts they touch.

New bearings really are pretty cheap, too..
